Born and raised in the heart of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, Carlo Lanzilotti got an early introduction to classic Italian cooking from his mother, the chef. His love for food and his passion for authentic Emilia-Romagna cuisine have been a part of him ever since.
Since arriving in Miami 13 years ago, Carlo has worked in many of the top culinary hot spots Miami has to offer. Through his work at Ristorante Ago in the Shore Club hotel, Casa Tua, and Kyma Lounge at the Epic Hotel; Carlo further delved into the world of Italian cuisine.
Carlo marries his knowledge and respect for the authentic dishes and traditions of Italy with his understanding of modern Italian cuisine to bring a fresh yet familiar look to Italian comfort food.
